Each injection described is strictly regulated under Florida law, must be officially prescribed by a healthcare provider, and cannot be purchased over the counter. What Are Wellness Injections?

Wellness injections are vitamin, amino acid, and antioxidant products administered by injection rather than taken by mouth. In Florida, we require a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider.

Pharmacies have a limited role with wellness injections. We can tell you which items are available on prescription, the concentration and volume your prescriber has ordered, the storage conditions each item requires, its beyond-use date, and the cost. However, whether any of it is clinically appropriate for you is a judgment solely for your healthcare provider. Pharmique publishes no claims about energy, metabolism, weight, immunity, aging or athletic performance.

We Do Not Administer

Pharmique is a pharmacy, not a clinic. We fill the prescription your provider has written and dispense it to you. The dose is administered by you or by your provider, following the directions on your label. If you are unsure how to draw up or administer what you have been prescribed, speak to your provider before the first dose.

Injections We Provide

Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin / methylcobalamin)

Two forms are dispensed on prescription: cyanocobalamin and methylcobalamin. Injection bypasses absorption through the gut, which is why prescribers choose it for some patients. Cyanocobalamin is synthetic, highly stable and cost-effective; methylcobalamin is a naturally occurring coenzyme form. Which form, at what concentration, and in what volume is your prescriber's decision and should be stated on the prescription itself.

Lipotropic and MIC Blends

MIC stands for methionine, inositol and choline. Lipotropic is the category name for a blend containing those components, sometimes with vitamin B12 alongside. We supply exactly what the prescription specifies, including the amount of each component.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is prescribed by mouth far more often than by injection, such as tablets, capsules or oral liquids, and an injectable form is the exception in clinical practice. It is usually reserved for patients who cannot absorb or tolerate an oral product, which is your prescriber's judgment. Confirm current availability with the pharmacy before a prescription is written.

Vitamin C

Ascorbic acid for injection is dispensed against a prescription stating the concentration and the volume. Injection is sometimes chosen where an oral product is not suitable, which is a judgment for your prescriber. As with every item on this page, it is dispensed to a named patient rather than supplied as stock.

NAD+

Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide is a coenzyme involved in normal cell metabolism. It is supplied on prescription where a prescriber has written for it. Federal and state rules govern what a pharmacy may lawfully supply in this category, and those rules change. Confirm current availability with the pharmacy before prescribing.

Glutathione

Glutathione is a tripeptide of cysteine, glutamic acid and glycine with antioxidant activity. No FDA-approved injectable glutathione product exists. It is dispensed against a prescription that states the concentration and the volume, and is sometimes prescribed alongside vitamin C. Whether either is appropriate for you is a clinical judgment for your prescriber, and not one the pharmacy can take on their behalf.

Strengths and Combinations Available

Details such as specific concentration, volume, and combination should be specified on the prescription. A vitamin B12 prescription can be written at various concentrations. A lipotropic prescription describes each component and its concentration thoroughly. Depending on the specific order and availability, a combination may be supplied as either single-dose (one injection) or multi-dose (several injections).

Alongside the aforementioned information, we cannot quote a price or processing time from just the substance name. The concentration, volume, and quantity must be provided as well. In addition, prescribers must specify the preparation with all details in order to receive the injection as fast as possible, avoiding any delays due to lack of information or prescription clarification.

Preservative, excipient, and allergen restrictions must be clearly stated on the prescription before production. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not undergone FDA review for safety, effectiveness, or quality.

How Sterile Preparations Are Handled and Stored

Sterile items require different and more careful care than a capsule or cream. Temperature, time, and verification must be strictly monitored between a prescription's arrival and the point at which the item is dispensed.

  • Prescription verification. Each prescription is carefully checked to confirm the patient name, substance, concentration, volume, quantity, and treatment directions. A licensed pharmacist reviews the prepared medication, and a second verification is performed right before the medication is distributed to the patient.
  • Refrigerated storage. Items requiring refrigeration are properly stored from first arrival until distribution.
  • Beyond-use dating. Each prescription has a beyond-use date printed on the label. The beyond-use date is tracked and calculated, so that refills can be scheduled before you run out of usable medication. The beyond-use date is only valid if the medication is stored correctly.
  • Product integrity. Do not use the medication if the package arrives warm, the cold pack has fully thawed, or if the contents appear cloudy, discolored, cracked, or the seal has been altered. Call us at (407) 610-9090 to arrange a replacement.

Already Filling Elsewhere?

There is no need to get a new prescription or call your old pharmacy yourself. By sending us the pharmacy name, phone number, and your prescription number, we make the transfer seamless and move any remaining refills.

Transfer a Prescription

To receive a refill, use our online refill request form or call us at (407) 610-9090. Request prescription delivery at the same time you send the prescription in. Allow us several days' notice for an item that must be ordered in, so that there is no gap between medication.

Common vitamin injectables are available in more than one concentration, and some are supplied as single-dose or multi-dose presentations. Every sterile item we dispense comes through the licensed pharmacy supply chain, is checked against your prescription on arrival and again at handover, and is held under the storage conditions its labeling specifies, refrigerated where that is required. The beyond-use date is the date after which an item should no longer be used, and it is printed on your label. Beyond-use dates on sterile items are typically much shorter than a manufacturer's expiry date, and they assume the item has been stored exactly as the label directs. Most prescriptions are ready within 24 to 48 hours of receipt, and we confirm a firm timeline once we have reviewed yours. A first fill can take longer than a refill, because the strength, concentration and any restriction are confirmed with your prescriber before dispensing. Either. Collection in person is available at the pharmacy, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and local prescription delivery is free. Tell us which you would prefer when the prescription is sent.
