Pharmacist Consultations in Central Florida

Pharmique is a compounding pharmacy at 1210 S International Pkwy in Lake Mary, and a consultation is simply time set aside to talk to the pharmacist properly rather than across the counter. People book to go through hormone therapy options, to have someone look over everything they are taking at once, to understand how the weight management program works, or to find out whether a medication that does not suit them can be made a different way.

A consultation is a conversation, not an appointment with a prescriber. We can explain the dosage forms a prescription can take, flag an interaction worth raising, talk through what testing usually involves, and go through a laboratory report with you so you know what it says before your next appointment. Diagnosis, the decision to treat, and the prescription itself remain your prescriber's.

Heathrow and Sanford are a few minutes away, Longwood and Altamonte Springs a short drive south, and patients travel to us regularly from Winter Park, Maitland and Orlando. If you do not yet have a prescriber, call us on (407) 610-9090 and we can point you toward practices in the area.

Consultation Questions

Local prescription delivery is free, and we ship statewide anywhere in Florida.

You sit down with one of our pharmacists for about thirty minutes and go through whatever you booked the time for. That might be how a particular compounded dosage form works, why a medication is causing a side effect, or what your prescriber has suggested and what it would involve in practice. You will leave with clear answers and, where it helps, something written down.

No. Anyone can book, whether or not you have ever filled a prescription with us. Plenty of people book before deciding where to take a prescription, precisely so they can ask questions first. If you decide afterwards that you would like us to fill it, we can arrange the transfer from your current pharmacy then.

A list of everything you take, including supplements and anything bought over the counter, is the single most useful thing. Bring the containers if that is easier than writing it out. If your question is about one specific prescription, bring the label or the prescription number. Nothing else is needed, and you do not need to send any of it in advance.

The booking system emails you a short code to confirm the address you entered is really yours. It takes a moment, and it is what stops the appointment calendar being filled with bookings nobody intends to keep. Enter the code and your appointment is confirmed. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder, or call (407) 610-9090 and we will book the time for you.

Yes. The confirmation email you receive after booking contains a link to reschedule or cancel, and you can use it at any time. If you would rather do it by phone, call (407) 610-9090 during business hours. Letting us know, even at short notice, frees the slot for somebody else who needs it.
